Blissful Holiday

It goes so quickly doesn’t it?  The trick is to enjoy it while you’re in it and on that count, it was a wonderful Christmas!

In addition to many terrific gifts, the time to just relax and “be” is the most precious one of all.

Seeing almost all of the family and having the time to enjoy each others’ company, that’s a rare thing.

I also had a bonus this year: I didn’t have to make dinner once in the five days we had off!  Thanks to dinner out for our 3rd anniversary and all of the many festivities at the homes of others, all I made was bacon and a raisin pie. Leftovers rock!
