Professor Weird Al

The Weird one is back. The man who brought us Eat It to the tune of Michael Jackson’s Beat It, King of Suede to King of Pain by the Police and many, many more parodies has returned. His first release left me a little cold. Tacky is a take on Pharrell’s Happy and the only thing it seemed to have going for it was a bunch of celebrities. Watch it once, and you’re done with it.

But Word Crimes to Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines is just brilliant. And this review doesn’t come purely because I’m a bit of a grammar freak, but that’s part of it. It’s clever and well written. I think it should be required watching in schools!  Enjoy.

  1. I love this. Thanks for giving me another excuse to watch it. Love, love, love this. In addition, our daughter (23) is now a Weird Al fan. I told her to find some Dr. Demento shows while she’s at it!!! Thanks Lisa!

  2. I’ve always loved his videos – “Like a Surgeon” hahaha….his wit is quick and gives me something to smile about :-). Yes, Erin & Lisa, my daughter is a journalist and is loving this one too. Enjoy your weekend.
