We didn’t spend actual Father’s Day with my Dad this year. Yesterday was the 90th anniversary of CKNX Radio in Wingham – more about that tomorrow. But we did do an early Father’s Day get together. Despite enduring Parkinson’s for years, he has somehow kept his wit and sense of humour. And so today, I want to share with you my favourite picture of him, that shows his wonderful smile.Â
This was taken last year. I had been standing behind him playing with his hair, just being goofy. I was delighted to discover that it stayed wherever I put it! We call this, Dad’s audition for A Flock of Seagulls. In case you need a refresher:
