Lisa’s Pieces grew out of a love for building beautiful things and the belief that they should be affordable. We don’t aim to furnish your entire home. Our pieces are mostly practical accents. We appeal to people who like decor that has history and a story. By using only repurposed wood and other items, every piece has a past. We also reduce the amount of stuff going into our landfills.

Have you ever looked at a piece of furniture and thought, someone with an imagination and more time to devote to it could really make something nice out of this? Think of us as that “someone”. We believe in giving a new life to a quality piece, whether it’s with a fresh coat of paint (we have a preference for chalk paint, but also use other types), or a complete rebuild into something different. And we build our own quality pieces from scratch. Most of them are one-of-a-kind. The availability of live-edge wood, pallets, old solid-wood furniture and even fences and century-old beams and posts determine what we make. A beautiful piece of live-edge poplar inspired our coffee table with gas-pipe legs.

Metres of horse-fencing, sanded and cut, felt like it was meant to be made into crates.

We stain or paint to suit. If you can describe it, we can make it.

We’ll deliver to London and region or ship it, if you’d prefer. Coming soon – the names of area retailers who have asked us to make custom pieces to sell in their stores. Thanks for visiting!
