Partway through the month, as Movember group the Swollen Glands continued to grow their moustaches and raise money for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health, Blair said, “If we get to $3500 in donations I’ll have a moustache waxed into my chest hair!”
Yesterday morning, live on the air on Free-FM, the wax was heating up, the girl had her gloves on and he was truly, genuinely nervous. Donations topped $4600 (and we expect it to reach $5000) so there was no turning back. He was as good as his word and optimistic that the aspirin he took and the numbing cream I loaned to him would help dull the pain.
Then the waxing began! And reality set in.
It hurt. It really hurt. And at the end, his skin was a mess for a while (the angry reaction settled down in an hour) but the mission was accomplished! Nice job guys. Well done. Now get those razors and clean up those lips!
