A woman who made a bet with friends found her exact replica in less than a month thanks to social media. Although the search was worldwide, Naimh Geaney from Dublin, Ireland found her mirror image in a stranger who lived only an hour’s drive away.
When I lived in Hamilton I got a little bit frustrated with my dry cleaner because she constantly handed me someone else’s order. It turns out that she was doing the same thing to another woman because we looked so much alike. I was skeptical until I ran into my doppleganger one day. It was like walking into a mirror. Her hair was a little big curlier and shorter but other than that, I could see how we could be mistaken for each other. This was before the days of Twitter, Facebook and selfies so we basically said wow a few times and parted ways.
