M-O-T-H-E-R

M is for the muffins she baked for my health.

O is for the other stuff she made me eat as well. (Like disgusting liver bathed in a disguise of pineapple sauce!)

T is for the times she’d put us kids first. (Which was – let’s see – oh, always!)

H is for our hearty laughs whenever she would curse!

E is for everything else that made us who we are.  (Making us honest, loyal and smart!)

R is for relentlessly supporting our dreams and aspirations.  (That doesn’t rhyme but it’s true.)

Put it all together and it spells MOTHER.  Happy Mother’s Day Mom! I love you.
