Heritage Homes Open House

Restoration of two of London’s oldest homes is complete and this weekend the doors (and cupboards) are open in exchange for a $15 dollar donation to the Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness, London.  I went yesterday and enjoyed absorbing some of this city’s history. 

Crazy From the Heat

Are you sick of hearing about how hot it has been? Yeah, well, we’re pretty sick of talking about it. But such extreme weather affects everybody and we don’t want anyone falling ill or saying they didn’t know it was coming. Here’s hoping that today there will be other issues on our radar.

Early Morning Hours

Last week I started to feel comfortable with the whole routine of getting up at 3:30 am, coming home for a brief nap and then going to bed at an hour so early that toddlers would mock me for being a weenie.

No Dilemma Here

The Dilemma is packed with star-power: Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, Oscar-winner Jennifer Connolly, Winona Ryder.  It was directed by Ron Howard, so one’s expectations kind of rise, even though it didn’t make much of a box office buzz.
