These animal-loving tough guys and gals from Long Island, New York sometimes provide muscle to SPCAs and animal welfare groups on raids and sometimes go in and save animals on their own. Dr. Phil recently chronicled one of their biggest raids when they shut down an awful dog-fighting ring. They also have their own reality show. They’ve been instrumental in closing down puppy mills and getting vet care and new families for rescued pets. I love the shattered stereotype!
