Six months have passed since Derek and I had the privilege of driving down the Pacific coast from BC to California. The goal was to get Erin Davis’ Mini Cooper to Palm Springs. Mission accomplished, via a gorgeous drive.
It was off season, so ocean-side condo rates were often comparable to those of hotels in town. In other words, we lived like kings and queens without having to sell the castle!
This was our last hurrah before moving from London to Wallaceburg. We have more hurrahs in our future, but it was a welcome, wonderful break from the tasks of downsizing and packing. If you ever get the opportunity, via Mini Cooper, sedan or bus, take it. You won’t regret it.
