Best of the West

When Erin and Rob come to visit, there’s food, fun and lots of laughter. Their arrival coincided with Rob’s birthday so we made sure our wait staff at the Mandarin were aware of that fact. They sang their own version of Happy Birthday. I didn’t ask permission to post a photo of Rob so I commissioned this artist rendering of the occasion, including the giant hat they make every birthday celebrant wear.

We did a little shopping while the men did some work around the shop. We talked voice-over, coffee, chocolate,  vacations and cats. And they brought a lot of goodies including beautiful tulips.

And my new favourite coffee mug.

Drinking from my new mug that reads: I run on coffee, chaos and cuss words!

It’s just delightful when we’re all together. We regularly try to shrink the kilometres between Victoria, BC and London, ON but nothing compares to being face to face.
