Maybe by this time next year, we’ll be in so many markets that I’ll put up a schedule. This life has a lot of charm. On Sunday, we’re in our second one at Elgin Harvest Wood-Fired Pizza on Sunset in St. Thomas.
Derek has been working every day on his wares. We call them Lisa’s Pieces but it’s his effort, all the way. I’m in charge of quality control and I add the price stickers. It’s a lot of responsibility!

Phone lamps are his most popular items, by far. What else can you do with old rotary phones? I have to laugh when I see them on Facebook Marketplace priced at $200-300. They just aren’t that valuable as a paperweight. However, Derek makes them useful again. He has even given a couple of newer phones the Lisa’s Pieces treatment.

He’s also made lanterns, all sorts of wooden items, a lighthouse lamp, decor stuff and more. Here’s a taste.

Other vendors at the market have antiques, clothing, you name it. It’s a fun atmosphere.
If you’re in the area, it’s on Sunday (July 19) from 11-5 at Elgin Harvest Wood-Fired Pizza. It’s 15 minutes from Port Stanley. They have loads of free parking, it’s pet friendly, and there’s no admission charge. The official address is 400 Sunset Drive. The pizza is delicious, too!

Derek has such a creative mind! These pieces are great and I’m sure they will all get snapped up.
Have a fun day at the market, you two.
Thanks, Claire! 😁
