Port Stanley’s Dove Report 2025

Here in the waning days of summer you might be asking yourself, what are the Mourning Doves up to? Renowed Dovologist Ophelia Clutterbuck is back to report on another year in the lives of Port Stanley’s Mourning Doves.

Usually, the dove’s mournful cry is meant to attract a mate. This summer, however, Ms. Clutterbuck presents a different analysis. Without further ado, here is her audio translation report.

Who knows what the doves will be on about next year? Why, Ophelia Clutterbuck, of course. She is, after all, the world’s leading Dovologist.

  1. So glad to hear from Ophelia! I am just now visiting my sister in Port Stanley. She is a longtime resident of Port Stanley and she, too, is very happy to see the backsides of tourists and looking to cooler and quieter days in Port. Thanks for the update.
