Have you seen the viral video of the guy who pushes his girlfriend off a cliff?
Okay there’s more to it than that. She is wearing a harness and attached to ropes and other gear for a cliff jump but she balks. Repeatedly. He counts her down and she simply chickens out but she won’t admit it. Exasperated, and despite a promise not to, he gives her a shove and away she goes over the 400 ft. cliff.
As she swings over the rock she yells “I’m breaking up with you!”. You’re darn straight.
We are discussing this on The Big Show this morning. In my view two things went wrong here. One, she didn’t know when to say, I’m done. And two, he had absolutely no right to push her. I don’t care if she stood there for an hour. I would climb back up that rock and kick his ass! Decide for yourself.
Sadly, relationships all to often involve pushing each others buttons, bringing each other right to the edge of breaking and sometimes stemming from the excitement of the moment and/or enthusiasm pushing each other right over the edge. In this case, he did it not only figuratively but literally with a predictable result. Bets on how long after she cools down before they get back together? Something which is also predictable.
That’s hilarious! That was definitely a heart-felt, `blood curdling scream’! I can’t figure out how that swing works though. How does the person swinging not slam into the bottom of the rock face when they are at the bottom of the arc directly below where the rope is attached?
I don’t know – maybe the guy should jump and find out? hahaha.
I’m sure the guy has already jumped many times. I have a buddy that took his wife skydiving and ended up doing the same thing. She had mentioned months before, maybe joking maybe not, that he will probably have to push her out of the plane. He did! After the initial tantrum she said she was glad he did it because she really wanted to jump but couldn’t do it on her own. This girl probably had the same reaction. Either way, they both had a great day: she got some help doing something great that she couldn’t do on her own and he got to push his girlfriend off a cliff!
And in the end it also may have been a set-up.
